Prompted by a mid-career move from Melbourne, the young family of five (plus dog) were looking for a house that was uniquely theirs, and a space they felt they had lived in forever. The design of the house reflects the warm, close-knit values of the family, giving Kate, Alex and their three children light, airy spaces to come together.
We wanted to achieve 3 things with this house: affordability, light and connection to landscape. We love how the whole house is organised around the central courtyard, to be fully connected to the site is wonderful!
